We are committed to supporting researchers, engineers, laboratories, universities, and industrial customers worldwide with reliable scientific products and responsive technical support. Due to the specialized and technical nature of many laboratory, electrochemical, and battery-related products, please review the following Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing your order.
If you are unsure about product compatibility, specifications, or application suitability, our team is always happy to assist prior to purchase to help ensure a smooth procurement experience.
1. Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted only upon prior written approval from Beyond Battery.
To be eligible for a return:
- The return request must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging with all included accessories, manuals, certificates, and components.
- Proof of purchase or order number must be provided.
For international institutional or laboratory shipments, Beyond Battery may exercise reasonable flexibility on a case-by-case basis where delays in internal receiving or inspection procedures occur.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for approval.
2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
Due to the technical, customized, and regulated nature of certain products, the following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless confirmed defective upon arrival:
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Special procurement or supplier-sourced items
- Consumables and disposable products
- Chemicals, reagents, and battery materials
- Lithium-containing products
- Hazardous or regulated materials
- Opened, used, installed, or contaminated products
- Calibration-sensitive equipment
- Clearance, promotional, or discounted items
- Software, licenses, or downloadable digital products
Products that have been exposed to chemicals, electrolyte, reactive gases, vacuum processing, high temperatures, contamination, or experimental environments are not eligible for return.
If clarification is needed prior to ordering, we strongly encourage customers to contact our team for assistance.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your shipment arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Order number
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the outer packaging
- Description of the issue
Depending on the situation, Beyond Battery may:
- Provide replacement parts
- Arrange product replacement
- Offer store credit or partial refund
- Request return inspection before resolution
Shipping damage claims may require investigation with the courier provider before compensation or replacement is finalized.
4. Product Compatibility & Technical Applications
Customers are responsible for verifying product suitability, specifications, dimensions, voltage requirements, chemical compatibility, operating conditions, and intended application before purchase.
Returns related to the following are generally not eligible for approval:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect product selection
- Compatibility mismatch
- Procurement approval changes
- Project cancellation
- Experimental design changes
We highly encourage customers to consult our technical team before ordering if there is any uncertainty regarding product selection or compatibility.
Technical discussions, application suggestions, product recommendations, configuration proposals, or workflow guidance provided by Beyond Battery are offered in good faith based on information available at the time and are intended for general technical reference only. Beyond Battery does not guarantee specific experimental results, system performance, research outcomes, or application suitability. Customers remain responsible for validating product suitability and safe operation for their intended application.
5. Return Authorization Procedure
All returns require prior written authorization from Beyond Battery. Unauthorized returns may be refused upon arrival.

If approved, detailed return instructions will be provided.
6. Return Shipping Responsibility
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and courier surcharges are non-refundable.
Certain products — including lithium-containing materials, chemicals, hazardous goods, pressurized systems, or regulated items — may require certified dangerous goods packaging, UN-compliant labeling, documentation, and carrier approval before return shipment. Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable dangerous goods, export control, customs, and transportation regulations.
⚠️ Improper shipment of regulated or hazardous materials may result in shipment rejection, customs seizure, regulatory penalties, airline or courier refusal, or transportation safety violations.
For international returns, customers are responsible for ensuring proper export declaration and customs compliance. Beyond Battery is not responsible for returned shipments delayed, damaged, rejected, or lost during transit.
7. Inspection & Restocking Fee
Approved returns may be subject to inspection upon receipt. Restocking fees may apply depending on:
- Product condition
- Repackaging requirements
- Inspection or testing work
- Calibration or recertification requirements
- Supplier restocking charges
- Administrative handling costs
Restocking fees, if applicable, will be communicated prior to return authorization.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item. Beyond Battery reserves the right to adjust the refund amount based on product condition, applicable restocking fees, or deductions for missing components.
