Published Application Example
High-Rate CO₂ Electroreduction to Multicarbon Products
A three-chamber flow cell was used to evaluate Cu(100)-rich gas-diffusion electrodes for CO₂ electroreduction to ethylene and C₂+ products. Direct CO₂ delivery to the catalyst layer, continuous 2 M KOH circulation and three-electrode control enabled investigation of catalyst-facet effects, current-density response, product selectivity and short-term stability. The study demonstrates the role of this cell architecture in rapid laboratory-scale CO₂RR validation.
