CNB-1-S42
Ceramic-coated separators (CCS) PE base film
Product Name & Description
Ceramic-coated separators (CCSs)
The PE base film has been coated with a layer of ceramic aluminum oxide, PVDF is coated on the surface of the ceramic particles (Single Side).
It can also be sandwiched coating with PE base film in the middle, and ceramic layer and PVDF layers are coated on the top and bottom respectively (Double Side).
Primary Applications
The ceramic coating improves the thermal shrinkage performance of the separator, enhancing battery safety. The PVDF coating enables adhesion between the positive electrode sheet and the separator, improving battery interface, hardness, and cycling performance.
Technical Data (Typical Properties)
The melting point of the PE separator is around 140°C.
