The dual potentiostat / galvanostat contains two sets of potentiostats / galvanostats, effectively functioning as a dual-channel electrochemical workstation, significantly enhancing experimental efficiency and instrument utilization.
-
Independent operation of the two channels allows simultaneous electrochemical testing of two identical or different samples.
-
Combined operation of the two channels is suitable for four-electrode systems, especially in applications such as collecting intermediate products in oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) and testing for metal hydrogen absorption and desorption.
Application Cases:
-
The Rotating Ring Disk Electrode (RRDE) is used in electrochemical systems. During the LSV measurement of the disk electrode at the main unit, a constant voltage is applied to the ring electrode of the opposite unit to detect the intermediate products generated at the disk electrode.
-
The H-cell is used for metal hydrogen absorption and desorption tests. The main unit connects to the anode chamber, and the subunit connects to the cathode chamber. Oxygen is supplied through the left-side anode and hydrogen through the right-side cathode. The flow of oxygen and hydrogen is measured to calculate the dispersion coefficient and diffusion rate of hydrogen atoms in the metal.
